Enterprise Architecture for Institutions With Limited Budgets
18 November 2025 6 min read
You don't need a full TOGAF implementation on day one — most institutions we work with are better served by a scoped-down architecture practice that covers the essentials without demanding a dedicated architecture team.
That usually means a lightweight application inventory, a small set of integration standards new systems must follow, and a documented decision log so architectural choices don't get relitigated every time staff turn over.
This scaled-down approach still holds up under audit and still gives leadership a clear picture of the technology estate — it just doesn't require the headcount a textbook implementation assumes.
